WOW! My 8 year-old Cavalier King Charles is acting like a puppy. He has a thyroid problem and had been quite lethargic. He is much more alert and our Vet could not beleive it. He wanted to know what in the world we were doing! Thank you SO much for caring to make great products for our beloved companions(pets)!

A rescued stray two years ago, Annabelle, a Walker Coon Dog, was a “walking skeleton” when Molly J. of Dallas, TX found her. Known to be loving, eager to please, intelligent and skilled, Walkers are swift, energetic and have keen smelling sense and endurance. Annabelle, however, was presumably about one-year-old when Molly found her and “was just a mess.” “She had worms. Her appetite was nonexistent. And she suffered numerous medical problems because of malnutrition,” Molly said...

Nico, a seven-year-old mixed breed of yellow Labrador and Golden Retriever, had an all-clear on hip dysplasia but suffered from a wide range of ailments: seasonal allergies, neurological tics, seizures, chronic bladder infections, hypothyroid disorder and chronic back pain. His owner, Emily Jane of Lakewood, Colorado, a veterinarian assistant and office manager for Foothills Animal Hospital, learned the worst news in 2006 when he was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease, where his adrenal glands produced insufficient amounts of cortisol, leading to his severe dehydration, poor appetite, lethargy, decreased appetite, excessive urination and incontinence and subsequent inflammation, swelling, burning and itching, often associated with common rashes in humans...

Normally, Daisy was a well-tempered, good-natured family dog. By the time she was one-year-old, however, she developed several allergies which continued for the next five years. She was treated for bacterial and fungal infections with a “host of antibiotics,” according to her owner, Donna S. of Scottsdale, AZ. “Daisy had four to five ear infections each year. Her ears would get red and inflamed and the infections would last six to eight weeks. We’d treat her with antibiotics and then the ear infection would reoccur as soon as one month later. Because of skin allergies and irritation, Daisy would chew the fur from her front paws and on her back. Her demeanor changed. She lost energy and acted unhappy.”

Her vet also discovered and treated her for several tumors in her bladder and trachea that were benign.

Lois R. of Danville, PA learned from her veterinarian that her Bichon Frise, Bradley, had diabetes over five years ago. Normally a sensitive, playful, and affectionate dog with a cheerful attitude, Bradley became weak, had little energy, lost his desire to eat and lost his eyesight nearly three years ago...

Sophie was a 14-year-old longhaired calico in a multi-cat household who had had a heart murmur from birth. Her owner, Linda R. of Covina, CA, sought treatment from her original veterinarian who prescribed the human cardiovascular medication, Atenolol, for Sophie for over two years.
Atenolol is used to treat high blood pressure. It also is used to prevent angina (chest pain) and treat heart attacks. Atenolol is in a class of medications called beta blockers. It works by slowing the heart rate and relaxing the blood vessels so the heart does not have to pump as hard. “It made Sophie listless and disinterested in everything,” Linda recalled...
